Evolution in Learning
We all started out one day with little or no knowledge and even less understanding. We were curious, enthusiastic, and awed by the possibilities. We were told it was too complicated and that there were more spreadsheets than spaceships. At times we were despondent, at others we were elated. We moaned in despair and we hooted in glee. We cried and we laughed. Sometimes we cried more, but we didn't tell anyone because we knew -- somehow -- that they loved our tears. One thing that did happen along the way is that we learned. And at time we even came to understand.
This is a story of the evolution of one player and his characters and the discoveries that were made. The learning that was formed and the unlearning that had to follow.
Skills, Skill, and more Skills
Following is the story of Kalaya and Her Alts. on their journey to discover the ways of the masters -- wax on, wax off. Eventually we get there.
Skills, Skills, and more Skills
Kills, Kills, and more Kills
We are told Eve is a Dark and Cold Place. There is no safety, only dread.
Some would have it that there is no safe haven, not even in High Security Space. But for now, we mostly choose the time and place of our deaths, or the time and place of the death of others.
This is the story of learning to die, and learning to kill -- and in that order.
