Damping is a vital role in a small-gang where resources are limited and have to be managed carefully. The ability to take a powerful enemy and literally neutralize them off the grid can be pivotal in the success of the fleet.

Small Fleet Damping 101 - Ships and Fitting Ship, fitting and options.
Small Fleet Damping 102 - Manual Piloting There isn't an option to orbit at 70-100km which is about your targeting range so manual piloting skills are vital.
