Characteristics that vary widely have been omitted. For example, cargo capacity, drone capacity and scan resolution can be low on one kind of Cruiser and very high on a different kind of Cruiser. These are the characteristics that define unique uses for ships with a class ... e.g., "drone cruiser", "ewar cruiser", "exploration cruiser."
