The character Nyctef significantly chopped my original contribution down, deleting why the cloak trick is useful, what the cloak trick is, and relevant information regarding the fact that hitting the mwd after the cloak works.  He also introduced a confusing statement that when you drop cloak you will be at "near align speeds" rather than "near-warp speed."  He also introduced several grammatical errors.  I've undone his edits and reverted this post to it's original form. - Dooobles.

:Actually, the information you say I deleted was added to the first paragraph. "Align speed" is a term I've heard and used a lot (meaning 75% of max speed), while warp speed could be confused with the maximum speed attainable during warp (like 3 or 6 AU/s). Actually, the information you say I deleted was added to the first paragraph. "Align speed" is a term I've heard and used a lot (meaning 75% of max speed), while warp speed could be confused with the maximum speed attainable during warp (like 3 or 6 AU/s).
