Mission briefing

Most often we leave the shipment of entertainment material to the more slow-moving vessels in our employ. Every so often, though, we receive sufficient premium orders from other stations and the planets in their vicinity that we dispatch a special courier with the payload. That courier is you, and the payload is huge stacks of holoreels, most of them ordered on some manner of timed interstellar delivery offer. This isn't the primary business of our own corporation as such, but we have enough ties to the producers of all this material - as would any corporation large enough to have gone interstellar - that it's incumbent on us to find ways of delivering it to the customers. Believe me, I wish we could just transfer all of this digitally, but for most of this cargo that is simply not an option. Some of these holoreels are under trade restrictions that prevent them from being beamed over and saved or stamped on the spot; others are special collectors' editions that may include anything from specially signed copies to boxed sets weighed down with any number of collectable objects. Please ensure your crew doesn't open any of the crates, either. These people are collectors and paid a galactic premium for their items. If they so much as smell another human being's presence on the merchandise, they will resort either to lawsuits or assassinations.
