::Template:Deprecated would be OK to use here. That said, I would have handled this a bit differently. I would have used "Upload a new version of this file" on :File:Tethering.png. That would automatically use the "new" image in all places where it is used without the need to go and edit those articles. Now, I do have noticed you used Expansion past to keep the old image version on the article, which would make it necessary to also keep the old version. This is unusual to be done. Expansion past is mainly intended to keep old game mechanics (mainly for support of returning players) and not for visual stuff.
:Keep in mind that when you do upload a new version of a file, due to how the wiki software works, there is some time delay (sometimes considerable) before the new image actually becomes visible. Initially it looks like nothing has changed. But do not panic; give it some time, and it will work. -- Evon R'all (talk) 08:45, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

Referencing up-to-date files from out-dated files

This is an old icon, the icon currently used in-game is File:Tethering_icon_2025.png. Is there a template that should be used to do this instead of just making a note in the description? I saw Template:Deprecated but it seemed to be used more for wiki-deprecated rather than game-deprecated.
