Making your own chat room
As in "Getting into a chat room," except: instead of #5:
- Click Add Chat
- Give your room a name, and a password if you want, then click add
- Go back to your buddy list, and double click on the chat you created.
- If you want a basic, temporary non password protected room, just click Accept Defaults, otherwise Configure Room:
- If clicked configure, change settings as you wish, be sure to click Make room password protected, and insert the password you picked if you want it to be password protected.
- To later change settings, type "/config" in the chat room.
Handy tip, even if you don't make a room persistent, it will stay in your buddy list, and you can easily recreate it to use again. Another Pro tip: type /help for a list of commands (in any client)
