*If you are coming from Aldrat, you will be passing through Hek.  Be extremely careful coming down the pipe to Hek, and all the way to Dudreda, as current war targets are very active in these systems (as are other small gang PvP activities). You might want to consider using the alternate route through Olbra - Jondik - Flost - Ongund - Bei, especially if LiveIntel.ILN reports lot of war target activities in Hek.

*When you arrive in Bei (or earlier) jump into the Low-Sec Campus Mumble channel and after waiting a minute to ensure comms are clear, state your intent to join the LSC and ask if anyone is available to provide you with eyes on the Bei gate in Hagilur, which is often camped, especially during weekends. If you absolutely cannot be on mumble, use Fleet chat. Do not warp to the Hagilur gate before you get the all clear (the gate campers often use a neutral ship to provide them with eyes on the Bei side of the gate).

*Follow the scout’s instructions and head to Dudreda.
As of June 2013, the Bei gate in Hagilur is heavily camped at time. It is still possible to travel between hi sec space and the LSC camp if you take just a couple basic precautions:
*When you arrive in Bei (or earlier) jump into the Low-Sec Campus Mumble channel and after waiting a minute to ensure comms are clear, state your intent to join the LSC and ask if anyone is available to provide you with eyes on the Bei gate in Hagilur. If you absolutely cannot be on mumble, use Fleet chat and ask for eyes on the Bei gate in Hagilur
*Don't stand on Hagilur gate in Bei while you wait for an all clear. Assume the gate campers have eyes on Bei side of the gate.
*If you travel often through that gate, burn your own off-grid tactical at 500 - 100 km from the gate in Bei and wait there.
*If you don't travel often, warp at 100 to any of the moons or to the custom office at Bei XI.
*If you can't get eyes, or if the gate is camped, consider flying the back way (Uttindar - Hek - Otou - Miroiten - Thelan - Hagilur - Dudreda). The back way might be camped (usually on Otou gate in Miroiten), but the camp is usually much smaller.
*For additional safety, you may consider fitting a warp stab or two if you take the back way. Given the size of the Bei gate in Hag gate camp at times, warp stab are usually useless on that camp, especially on slow align ships.
*For the really paranoid, you can avoid the Otou - Miroiten gate by flying Uttindar - Hek - Otou - Lamadent - Miroiten - Thelan - Hagilur - Dudreda
*Consider training a Covert Op ship at level IV or V. With this you can travel as you wish, scout and run sites in Low Sec.
*You do not need eyes to jump FROM Hagilur TO Bei. Just jump. Don't stand there. Unless you're in a very small ship and they use smart bombs you should be safe.
