Command Ships are Tech 2 variant Battlecruisers that are designed to lead fleets. They are much sturdier, allow for better fitting, and generally outperform their battlecruiser counterparts.

Command Ships Overview

Command ships come in two varieties: fleet and field. Field command ships are purposely designed to throw out more damage, take more damage, and cause more destruction than your ordinary battlecruiser. Fleet command ships are in a more traditional command position, being less destructive while granting command bonuses to the fleet at large. Most large fleets will deploy fleet and field command ships throughout the fleet chain, with the fleet command ships giving the command bonuses to as many as possible.
