Talk:Abyssal Deadspace
Rewards section needs rework and additional information, the abyssall TYPE will decide what mutaplasmids drops but I only have experience with Gamma Filiments, and the Dark Matter is hearsay. Can we please get a unista to list what muta plasmids they receive from what type (not level) of filiment used? Kardjaval (talk) 16:37, 8 June 2018 (CDT)
Come on, can anyone please update the loot for the missing filiments, i'm to much of a coward risking my ship in unknown territory...Kardjaval (talk) 01:56, 26 June 2018 (CDT)
I'm having a lot of fun doing abyssals. I'll start to keep track of what I get. --Zkadon estemaire (talk) 17:40, 27 July 2018 (CDT)
What are seekers?--Zkadon estemaire (talk) 17:39, 27 July 2018 (CDT)
What's the Unstable hidden thing? Is it still relevant? --Zkadon estemaire (talk) 17:47, 27 July 2018 (CDT)
Pocket boundary
Each pocket is a 150 km diamater sphere. Flying out of the sphere will result in incrementally increasing damage to your ship leading to its destruction.
Unstable Abyssal Depths |
---|
Roughly 10km from the boundary a red disk appears to mark the boundary. Beyond this point area of effect damage from Unstable Abyssal Depths (47465) increases with each second. It is omni damage and increases in a linear fashion until you either die, move out the boundary or the site timer runs out and you perish anyways. To put the damage to the test I sat in an Onyx like so:
[Onyx, Onyx - Shield AB RLML X-L SB Regen -SISI -2] Near the end of time, I could not go on further because TiDi was kicking in and I wasn't sure when I would be registered as "Dead" so I bailed. With these high resists in a Calm Plasma Firestorm site, I registered in excess of 4200 DPS before I was able to bail (damage ticks for 630 DMG for awhile, then 631, then 632, seemed to slow down after awhile). I calculated this resistance by the following: [Damage Tick] / ((EM Shield DMG Resonance + TH Shield DMG Resonance + KN Shield DMG Resonance + EX Shield DMG Resonance)/(4 shield types, averaging out each) = Approximate Damage Per Tick 630 / (( .19 + .11 + .11 + .19)/4) = 4200 I don't know what penalties I rolled but I didn't notice any towards capacitor capacity or shield capacity. I also went in with a flat resistance profile Maller and confirmed it's omnidamage, then went in with a ... Augoror Navy Issue with a bucketload of buffer and got some graphs, of which are shown below. |
Well done with this wiki page. Useful stuff. --Christopher Nolm (talk) 10:49, 17 August 2018 (CDT)
This link is timing out for me. Check again in a week or so and remove if it is broken: http://forums.fullbroadside.space/topic/34/abyssal-deadspace-for-dummies --Christopher Nolm (talk) 11:00, 17 August 2018 (CDT)
Yeah, not sure about the link. If anything we can make a note that the link is dead, just in case it starts working agian. I just want to credit the site for the info. Zkadon estemaire (talk)
--To Do--
Fix the Weather Effects percentages. The specific percentages are different based on filament type and tier.
4. Best Damage to Deal
Is it me or is the wording here a bit confusing?
But sometimes the natural resist hole of the rat is equal or even greater than the resist hole caused by the weather. In level 1-3 electric storm pockets the weather induced resist hole is equal to explosive resist hole. In all other pockets the weather induced weakness is greater.
