WHC Armor Basic Cruiser Loaner Fittings
Overall vision of the WHC Fleet.
- The ships must be accessible to any Unistas, even if they are not a regular campus member (In case of a WHC Defence situation). Therefore the skills required to sit in the ships should be relatively low.
- All ships should be fit for PvP. Sleeper Running should be possible with them but definitly not the sole or main purpose of the fit.
- As the we are actively trying to better ourselves and be versatile (as in be able to run with both shields and armor) we should have ships ready for both doctrines.
- The two doctrines supported are : Armor Brawling & Shield Brawling. The following page lists the Armor Brawling ships
- The main ships type for both doctrines are and will always be T1 Cruisers (We are the UNI after all) any bigger ships, *faction/pirate faction and higher tech ships should be there to compliment the T1 cruisers, not the other way around.
- The campus will purchase and maintain three T2 Logi of every race. Assumption will be Logi 4 for those ships. While we do have them that does not mean that we will not accept of maintain T1 Logi.
- WHC Battlecruisers will be fit with the same principle as the T1 Cruisers.
- WHC Battlehips should be Neut fitted with the ability to easily transition into rolling fit. (Exception to that is the Scorpion that should be ECM fit)
- No single ships should be a loot pignata, they are simply to easy to steal, as such, T1, Meta 0 through 4, Tech 2 and Deadspace *Faction mods worth 10 million or less are the only modules considered for these ships, (Deadspace & Faction mods, even if they are cheap used extremely sparingly and then again only for T2 Logi) T1 Rigs (T2 rigs for T2 Logi).

The staple of the WHC, this is the most common ship in the campus without mistake. There are 2 fits below: 1 is the tried, tested and true 3-2 fit the other is a CapGuoror fit, because we like to play with Neuting Battleships that are Cap hungry.

CapGuoror
This particular fit is awesome for WHC Defence. We usually field a number of Neut fit Battleships and they require 1 or 2 ETs to perma run their stuff. This ship also has projected ECCM instead of local ECCM, the point of the ship is to help either the logi or the neut BS not be jammed. So this ship is there to answer cap requests and ECCM requests.

Arbitrator
This is a little bit of an Odd-Ball, Its an EWAR ship with Drone Bonuses. This fit is as you would fit a Celestis or a Blackbird. Long-Range, AB with a decent tank. Instead of trying to take advantage of the Drone DPS bonuses ,this ship wins over the Celestis on the cap life battle, prop on 34 minutes of cap that is effectively cap stable. You can assign your drones to the FC and just concentrate on doing your EWAR thing.

Thorax
The Thorax is an awesome face melter. Some will raise eyebrows at the split weapon systems (Electrons and Ions) While it is usually bad we are looking at 400 meters difference in optimal range and 1100 meters difference in falloff range between the 2 guns, In practice that is negligible and both guns types should be able to apply the DPS equally well. You simply have to click 2 different buttons.

Vexor
Because of the low skills we are aiming at (CPU Management IV not V, The old Electronics Skill) I opted for the Target Painter instead of an Omnidirectional Tracking Link. I have no idea if it gives the same benefit to the drone`s tracking as the drone specific module, that being said the TP will help you and your fleet mates as opposed to just you like the tracking link. Instead of the Max DPS drone combo (2 Ogres, 2 Hammerheads and 1 Hobgoblin) I instead opted for the Vespa EC-600s, ECM Drones. ECM drones can help in a pinch, you might be more useful using your drones to try and jam out enemy logi then to apply DPS, this gives you options. (Yay for Drones!)

Celestis
This ship's tank is its ability to apply its EWAR affect at range and maintain traversal. That being said it does have the tank to go in there and mix it up which is awesome for fights on the Wormhole itself. With the skills we are using to fit these ships it has some cap issues, the pilots will need to periodically turn off the Afterburner to allow his cap to regenerate.
