Interrupted Expeditions are escalations that have a small chance of occurring after completing a detected relic site.[1]

Information

When a capsuleer warps to the site an informative message is received.

A message box appears when ship warps to the site. Message reads: This data site contains the remains of an expedition that was destroyed before it could complete its work.
Warp In Message

On grid you can see the remains of the failed expedition and hackable containers. There are no defenders, pirates on site.

This caption shows the on grid site. There are abyssal formations, a destroyed citadel, some non-interactive structures and hackable containers.
Exploration Site

Each site contains:

  • 3 Expedition Researc Cache hackable containers
  • 4 Expedition Secure Supplies hackable containers

A data analyzer is required to hack both types of container.

Loot

The containers have the potential to contain:

  • Datacores & Decryptors
  • Industrial Goods
  • Blueprint Copies
  • Materials
  • Triglavian Survey Databases
  • Abyssal Filaments
