Snipers must have all modules in red (Some fits need a Signal Amplifier II in a low slot, which gives a +30% to maximum targeting range and another 15% scan resolution bonus.)

Snipers need to lock and shoot to 150km, this requires all gun supports at IV, Racial Battleship IV and Long Range Targeting V at a minimum.
