Role Overview
The Community Development Lead supports the development of PvE-focused Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and location-based community initiatives. This role is central to EVE University’s transition from a traditional Community Coordinator structure to a SIG-based model.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Transition to a SIG-Based Environment
- Collaborate with leadership to implement the SIG structure.
- Mentor emerging SIG leaders and support content creation.
- Encourage SIGs that integrate educational and gameplay experiences.
- Promote SIGs as central to University identity.
Developing Location-Based Community Concepts
- Assist in building localised community hubs (e.g., missioning or mining).
- Support events and content that foster regional engagement.
Fostering Engagement and Enthusiasm
- Generate excitement for community projects.
- Empower member-led initiatives with guidance and resources.
- Promote collaboration between SIGs and other groups.
