Hello Everyone!

I still consider myself a newish player, I played for about a year from 2013-2014 but now I am back. I have no idea what I am doing these days, I have a collection of nice expensive ships and no idea how to use them (I never really did to begin with). I kind of just wandered around aimlessly and trained a bunch of skills; I can fly a lot of ships but they're useless in my hands. I am hoping to learn, meet some people and just have some good old fashioned MMO fun. I played WoW for a very long time and miss having those friends, I want to learn and potentially help new players in the future. Eve has such a huge learning curve, it is extremely overwhelming and I like to think I can benefit from group therapy.

EvE Experience: I started out mining with a friend's corp, then the Corp started entering into low sec worm hole farming and ship manufacturing; which of course eventually led us into PvP. As a result my Main turned more towards combat skills and my alt "Savanah Grey" was born. Savanah is my explorer/scanner/hauler alt. I am a bit of a Trekkie, so going "Boldy where no one has gone before" was a blast. She is currently in a low sec system safely docked in her Prowler ( I am scared to death). She was the main cargo hauler for my corporation, ferrying our manufactured goods from high to low sec. Since we were a small corp, the cloaking capability allowed me to do it escort free and in relative safety. I am scared cause I do not even know how to undock any more (>.<), so she is just sitting there currently training.

The goal with my main (Lucas Rivera), was to become a proficient combat pilot eventually getting into a strategic cruiser, primarily for Rat farming in the corp controlled worm hole. I actually own an outfitted Loki and can currently fly it but not fly it well. I have some minor PvP fleet experience, flew in a few fleet blobs with a bigger corp and small gang bounty hunting activity. I used to run point as a tackler in a stabber or frigate(Slasher or firetail if memory serves correctly).

Note: All of this was years ago, I am essentially a complete noob at this point but I am hoping to pick up quickly.

Technical Difficulties: My current computer is far from qualified to run EvE smoothly enough to play, despite it being what I originally played on all those years ago. I am currently in the process of trying to fix it and saving for a new rig. Being a parent makes us have certain responsibilities that we must take care of before we can buy our toys :( but my current goal is to get a rig up and running by November 2017 (Cyber Monday FTW). In the mean time I am training my skills so that way when I get back, I can fly ships effectively (at least skill wise).

Short Term Goal: I am currently training up a frigate mastery cert up to 4 in a Rifter, Daredevil and Merlin which thankfully overlaps with other frigates. - Reason: I want run some lower security missions in the hopes of gaining ISK and relearning basic combat skills while working on faction reps. T1 frigates wont hurt the wallet so much too much as I regain my footing.

Long Term Goal: Gain enough experience and skills to be able to participate in large PvE events and be an asset in PvP instead of a liability.

Ship Lust: As of now I plan to focus on my frigate skills, I hope to fly a Daredevil or a Dramiel as my main frigate.
