Things i did so far:
- Group/sort/classify existing class recordings
- make minor alterations/edits on Class names to merge classes with different names into more a standard format (ex: Gallente Spacecraft 101 -> Gallente Ships 101 -> saves us the trouble)
- changed the page format/layout so that everything is neat and tidy :)
things i'm planning to do:
- decide on a standard encoding format for existing and future records (i.e. we don't really need stereo and mono 64kbit 44khz might just do the trick)
- rename and re-upload existing class records with a more proper (standard) filename format (ex: "E-UNI Missioning 101")
- REALLY NEED THIS ONE: work together with Wiki and Training managers to create a standard class naming format or maybe a planned Curriculum (Curriculum2010 might just do the trick)
in short: my aim is to create a standard format for everything class related :) big goal, but the Uni can make it happen
we might state something like "All class records must be encoded in the following way: 30kbps 22Khz Mono" cause honestly, our TeamSpeak server's sound quality is 29.5kbps, and we dont need mp3 files with 128kbps encoding, it just bloats filesize. believe me in most cases the orginal wav recording's quality isnt any higher than 30kbps (limited by teamspeak
