Role Overview

The Associate Director of Community Engagement is responsible for enhancing PvP content and participation across EVE University. This includes developing structured PvP opportunities, mentoring members, and fostering a vibrant PvP culture in lowsec, nullsec, Thera, and beyond.

Responsibilities

PvP Content & Community Enablement

  • Promote accessible and engaging PvP opportunities across the University.
  • Develop initiatives to broaden PvP participation.

SIG Leadership & Mentorship

  • Oversee the creation and development of PvP-focused SIGs.
  • Mentor SIG leaders to foster thriving PvP communities.

Event Coordination & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the Events team to deliver PvP-oriented content.
  • Ensure events align with educational and gameplay goals.

Newbro Onboarding & Integration

  • Help new players access and enjoy PvP content.
  • Reduce barriers to participation and support skill development.

Community Feedback & Engagement

  • Gather feedback to refine PvP offerings.
  • Represent PvP community interests in decision-making.

Cross-Department Coordination

  • Collaborate with Combat and FCTM leadership.
  • Align PvP initiatives with the University’s strategic direction.

Promotion of PvP Culture

  • Reinforce PvP as a core element of the University's identity.
  • Encourage engagement from all experience levels.
