Lorl's quick setup (for pidgin)
- Download and install Pidgin: [1]
- The Accounts window should open, if not, click accounts > manage accounts
- Click Add
- Set protocol to XMPP
- Username is your forum username, replacing any spaces with periods "." and use your forum password

- (Pro-tip: You may want to set resource. For example, if you have two computers set up, you could have one called desktop, and another called laptop)
- Probably want to set to remember password
- Click Add!
