Noobs on Patrol events are weekly fleet events open to all members of the University, with a particular focus on newer pilots.

History
Noobs on Patrol was started by Debir Achen shortly after he joined EVE University in March 2011. The original format was a small PvP roam leaving post-downtime. This quickly changed into an open-to-all PvP roam.
From mid 2012, the "Noobs on Patrol" concept spread, with various University pilots starting their own "Noobs on Patrol" events. Although independent, all share the common theme set by the original.
In May 2012, Pyotr Kamarovi started Noobs on Patrol (Saturday Edition)
In July 2012, Wulfgrin Taillefer, Allison Ambrye and Dorcha Thiesant started New World Noobs on Patrol, catering to the US timezone.
In July 2012, Debir Achen retired from being FC of the original Noobs on Patrol, handing the mantle on to newcomer Gareth Corellian.
Format
Noobs on Patrol is usually a kitchen-sink PvP low-sec roam. On occasion, other events have been arranged:
- L4 missions in frigates
- D-scan practice
- Blackbird roam
- Wormhole visit
- Null-sec roam
- War-prep convoy
Current Events
- Noobs on Patrol (original): Wednesday 12:00 (after downtime). FC is Gareth Corellian
- Noobs on Patrol (weekend edition): Saturday 12:00 (after downtime). FC is Pyotr Kamarovi
- New World Noobs on Patrol: Friday 00:15. FC is Dorcha Thiesant
Noobs on Patrol events usually begin and end at the University home base in Aldrat.
