These cards act just like regular debit/credit cards, however usually bear significant fees and can only have a positive balance. The benefit is they cannot be charged interest for owing money. The detriment is that your monthly account will expire without warning at the end of the 30 days if you do not have funds in the card. The Credit Card Processing system appears not to care what details you fill in to verify the card, however the EVE online site will not allow you to proceed unless you enter some sort of details. I theorize that it makes no difference what you enter.
