Overall vision of the WHC Fleet.
 
 
 
*The ships must be accessible to any Unistas, even if they are not a regular campus member (In case of a WHC Defence situation). Therefore the skills required to sit in the ships should be relatively low.
 
*All ships should be fit for PvP. Sleeper Running should be possible with them but definitly not the sole or main purpose of the fit.
 
*As the we are actively trying to better ourselves and be versatile (as in be able to run with both shields and armor) we should have ships ready for both doctrines.
 
*The two doctrines supported are : Armor Brawling & Shield Brawling.
 
*The main ships type for both doctrines are and will always be T1 Cruisers (We are the UNI after all) any bigger ships, *faction/pirate faction and higher tech ships should be there to compliment the T1 cruisers, not the other way around.
 
*The campus will purchase and maintain three T2 Logi of every race. Assumption will be Logi 4 for those ships. While we do have them that does not mean that we will not accept of maintain T1 Logi.
 
*WHC Battlecruisers will be fit with the same principle as the T1 Cruisers.
 
*WHC Battlehips should be Neut fitted with the ability to easily transition into rolling fit. (Exception to that is the Scorpion that should be ECM fit)

This particular fit is awesome for WHC Defence. We usually field a number of Neut fit Battleships and they require 1 or 2 ETs to perma run their stuff. This ship also has projected ECCM instead of local ECCM, the point of the ship is to help either the logi or the neut BS not be jammed. So this ship is there to answer cap requests and ECCM requests.

This is a little bit of an Odd-Ball, Its an EWAR ship with Drone Bonuses. This fit is as you would fit a Celestis or a Blackbird. Long-Range, AB with a decent tank. Instead of trying to take advantage of the Drone DPS bonuses ,this ship wins over the Celestis on the cap life battle, prop on 34 minutes of cap that is effectively cap stable. You can assign your drones to the FC and just concentrate on doing your EWAR thing.

The Thorax is an awesome face melter. Some will raise eyebrows at the split weapon systems (Electrons and Ions) While it is usually bad we are looking at 400 meters difference in optimal range and 1100 meters difference in falloff range between the 2 guns, In practice that is negligible and both guns types should be able to apply the DPS equally well. You simply have to click 2 different buttons.

Because of the low skills we are aiming at (CPU Management IV not V, The old Electronics Skill) I opted for the Target Painter instead of an Omnidirectional Tracking Link. I have no idea if it gives the same benefit to the drone`s tracking as the drone specific module, that being said the TP will help you and your fleet mates as opposed to just you like the tracking link. Instead of the Max DPS drone combo (2 Ogres, 2 Hammerheads and 1 Hobgoblin) I instead opted for the Vespa EC-600s, ECM Drones. ECM drones can help in a pinch, you might be more useful using your drones to try and jam out enemy logi then to apply DPS, this gives you options. (Yay for Drones!)

Cap Injection does limit the usefulness of this ship to about 7 minutes which I dislike, however it does allow that ship to have comparable statistics to the Augoror for those 7 minutes, so totally appropriate for a small time engagement, not so appropriate for a WHC Defence situation.

This ship's tank is its ability to apply its EWAR affect at range and maintain traversal. That being said it does have the tank to go in there and mix it up which is awesome for fights on the Wormhole itself. With the skills we are using to fit these ships it has some cap issues, the pilots will need to periodically turn off the Afterburner to allow his cap to regenerate.

Dual Prop, probably one of the best heavy tackles in the T1 Cruisers. The Afterburner will help you signature/speed tank while already having an impressive 25k EHP in armor. The fact that you can do damage is just pure bonus :D

Two fits were suggested, One was an Autocannon Afterburner fit :(. One was a Dual Prop Rupture, why not use the Stabber for that? So I attempted to create my own fit. Going back on the Combat Cruisers description from CCP I emphasized durability. I'm sorry if I killed the rupture but it looks like a decent fit to me.

Well this is indeed a ship bonused for shield reps. My innate wish to be all inclusive still pushed me to try and create a fit for this one. Damage dealing was completely out of the question for this ship, its a support ship and therefore it should support stuff. As such I decided to go ahead and fit Remote Tracking Computers to this fit, granted it has no range on them (less then 8 kms) but that being said In a WHC defence it is likely that some of us will only have Attack BCs or even Battleships and getting Remote Tracking Computers is definitely beneficial at that point. So there is born the Armor Scythe. (OK, Fenrys may have helped me come up with the idea)

An EWAR ship with a missile rate of fire bonus, we had 2 contributions, one was a dual prop one made for mixing it in wit the best of them but did not actually use any target painters, the other was a heavily tanked EWAR ship that did not use missiles. I tried to come up with my own fit that did use both of the bonuses. As the Celestis, Arbitrator and Blackbird this one is intended to apply its damage at range, for an EWAR ship it is rather squishy (only 25k), but it does carry 4 bonused Target painters and can run with all modules active for a solid 7m 40s. Desired engagement range for this ship is at 35 to 45 km. Especially useful when we have battleships on the field trying to track Tech 3 cruisers.

The classic ship of the UNI, unfortunately in recent patches ECM has been nerfed quite heavily but it does not make the old blackbird useless. In a big fleet bringing 2 or 3 of these, working in conjunction with the celestis can be rather scary. Specially for pilots that have trained into ECM. It has a rather light tank (28k EHP) but can apply its effect fully from an impressive 50km and can keep functioning at close to 50% efficiency from a whopping 95 km. This ship needs to refit based on circumstances, as such in this ships cargo bay is going to be spare ECM modules. I aim to keep a total of 4 ECM modules of each type available. (So between the cargo bay and what is actually fit, there should be 4 modules.) I decided to add 2 sensor dampening drones in the drone bay, which together, when you take into account staking penalties, should give you about a 14% reduction in sensor resolution. Which is granted minimal but why not :)
