RR musings

It's been suggested that a meta 4 remote repairer module is a more effective tool than a t2 version. This (I believe)misconception springs from the fact that the m4 can be overheated for longer. While this is true, it also ignores or belittles the significantly shorter cycle time of the t2 repper.

It's worth noting that a m4 repper overheated only cycles 0.25 seconds faster than an UNheated t2 repper.

Lets break out the math:

Scenario, one max skilled guardian, repping another guardian. (values taken from eft, post rubicon 1.0)

The t2 reppercycles at 4.5 (3.825heated) seconds and can be overheated in the middle of a rack of other reppers (unheated) for 5mins and 8 seconds. Repping the other guardian for 617 dps while doing so. The m4 reppercycles at 5.0 (4.25heated)seconds and can be overheated in the middle of a rack of other reppers (unheated) for 5mins and 28 seconds. Repping the other guardian for 556 dps while doing so.

So over the course of it's burning out, the T2 repper has repped it's buddy for 190036 damage, where the m4 one has repped his buddy for 182368 damage.

The 'best' choice to me seems clear.
