TANK!

This page provides information on the history of DUST University. DUST 514, a game for Playstation 3, was shut down by CCP Games on May 30, 2016.

This setup focuses on the Heavy being able to soak a lot of damage while dishing damage out at all ranges.

1. Heavy

    Weapon: HMG
    Grenade: Locus Grenade
    Role: Close Combat

2. Heavy

    Weapon: Assault Rifle
    Grenade: AV Grenade
    Role: Mid range/AA

3. Heavy

    Weapon: Laser Rifle
    Grenade: Flux Grenade
    Role: Long range

4. Logistics

    Weapon: Swarm Launcher/Forge Gun
    Grenade: Any really
    Misc Equipment: Repair Tool, Nanite injector, Nanohive, Drop Uplink (these are in order of importance so if you have 3 slots take the first 3)
    Role:  Healing/Reviving/Resupplying/AA

Squad Tactics.

This squad while slow is great for defending and slowly pushing. The heavy suits while sacrificing speed give the squad a longer survival time. Each of the Heavies overlap with another for damage distances meaning at least 2 are in a good range at all times. The grenades are spread out as to be able to handle all situations of opponents including vehicles. The Logi stays back and focuses on healing and supply while the Heavies just dish out the damage. Only vulnerability is to extreme range (snipers)
