It's a death trap do not try
I have tried this mission multiple times now. I am not a mission runner. I simply run sometimes missions in between. What I can confirm so far about the mission described here is this:
"Do not do the mission alone, you will immediately find yourself aggro, scrambled and no warp possible, and the damage is considerable"
That seems to be the only fact I can agree on. The mission description suggests, that bringing more ships is better. I had no such feeling.
I used various very well fitted ships with good implants and maxed out skills. I had no chance. In the end it cost me 3 ships. A Drake Navy, Rook and a Jackdaw. I found some descriptions and YT videos, mostly very old ones. A newer one as well. All were solo mission runs and all had a similar approach, either kite and spool OR smartbomb to death. Neither did work for me well not even with two toons.
"Strong faction or deadspace-grade tank modules and high volley damage + webs..."
The frigates change targets, which is nowhere mentioned in the mission description. The switch seems to be kind of randomized. They also target drones too. At one point I had 4 webs on a single frigate, having all negative values in Speed, Angular, basically stalling ... the thing in space and still wasn't able to hit it, except for abysmal amounts of damage, which it repaired in no time. I tried multiple fits with multiple ships, warping in and out. I looked at it as a challenge at first but I have to admit I am no expert and certainly no geek at this game. I try to have fun and at first it was. But then it flipped and became a nuisance and I canceled the mission in the end after a day. Did I do everything right. Hell no. But no matter how you see it I wasn't able to even kill a single ship. I was not even close. So safe your time go play with you kids and forget about "to quickly win the DPS race" Danilo Latas (talk) 20:30, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- Not much of a surprise here. As this is an Anomic mission, and especially the hardest tier of them it is created to be extremely difficult. Requiring extremely good skills and ships. -- Evon R'all(talk) 07:08, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
- Yes indeed of course, but having good skills and good ships will not necessarily suffice in this case. I had both and it did not work out for me. Danilo Latas (talk) 19:06, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
