I started playing EVE for the first time in March 2013, which is unusual as I've been quite an avid MMO player since 1999 and have tried them all otherwise. Never got around to EVE for some reason.

Got hooked pretty quickly though; had created a second paid account before I was finished my trial and never looked back. Joined EVE University not long after starting as it seemed the ideal starting place to get used to such a potentially complicated game. Spent a few months getting my head screwed on straight and made a bee-line to the WHC at my first opportunity and have been there ever since.

First became a WHC Officer during Sivney Quincannon's tenure as campus manager and thus became part of the first major reorganization of the campus since it was founded early in 2013 by Sylvanium Orlenard. After seeing the initial steps through with Sivney, I took over management of the campus personally on January 31, 2014. And thus began the reign of Niss. The current organization and state of the campus is an extension of the mindset established by Sivney, together with whatever servicing is needed for my own OCD :).

Woe be to those who enter these halls. Err, holes.
