"I'm sad, not a single fit was posted for this ship. As such I went to have a look at the Augoror and tried to mirror the fit. Quick note, there is such an Osprey fit known as the "POSprey". That fit was invented back before the T1 cruiser rebalance, it did (and still does) its job fairly well, that is to repair a POS or other structure, however it fails at everything else, anyone bringing a POSprey to the battlefield has an inherent death wish. Therefore I'm not even considering that fit for our loaner fleet."

- I did a slight modification from Nys`s Fit. I removed one of the ECM modules and added an Invulnerability Field II, which gives this ship a semblance of a tank (18.8k EHP) but only 3 bonused ECM modules. Just like the armor fit 3 spare ECM modules for each race will be stored in this ships cargo bay for easy refit. This will require cap management by the pilot. If you are not being attacked having the Invulnerability field off is a must.

- The fit I ended up posting is a variation on Sivney`s fit. Sivney`s actually as more EHP and speed then this one. However Sivney`s has a wopping 30% resist hole in thermal, hammerheads and hobgoblins everywhere would have a field day. On top of that the WHC can usually expect to fly with logi, in-fact its the defacto standard, more then once we did not take the fight because of lack of proper logi. As such I fit this ship for resist instead of best EHP.

- It was suggested to me that I should forgo some tank in favor of a tackle mod and apparently the minmatar don't like MWDs, something about horrible sig bloom :? Its also been explained to me that I don't have to only fight at 2 km range I can totally fight at 10 km range with this fit so I can go without MWD and just Afterburner. So this is my 2nd attempt. The Utility mid currently has a web but a scram will be available in the cargo bay of the ship for easy refitting.

- Once again I was saddened to see that no fits were suggested for this ship. I tried to come up with a fit for it and this is when I learned that the Scythe is the sad little puppy of the T1 logistics cruisers. It can totally be fit properly, but you need better cap skills, Shield Transporter skills and Minmatar Cruiser skills then what we are aiming for :( Nevertheless I gave it my best try. I had intended to provide 2 fits, one cap stable and one cap injected. Its simply impossible to create a cap injected fit that has any kind of a tank. I was also unable to fit any kind of anti-ewar modules on this ship.

- My first attempt to fit this ship was, well horrible, all the other EWAR cruisers that I fit for this (both armor and shields) have been for long range work. To function outside of the fleet, so I have reworked it to use Heavy Missiles instead of Heavy Assaults, granted it looses DPS but I was reminded that this is not there to do DPS but use its TPs. So here is take 2.

- This Thorax has a little bit of a light tank in my opinion, but if I compare them to the rest of the shield ships I fit so far its actually comparable. Unlike the Minmatar ships that can afford to fight at 10+ km the thorax has no such luxury so I kept the MWD on it, yes it blooms its signature but I can hardly see how this ship would be of any use in a brawl without it. This is essentially a mirror of the fit I posted earlier with a cheaper tackle mod and cheaper guns.

- The poor Celestis was simply not engineered with shield tanking in mind. I'm halfway tempted to just provide some Maulus for the job, because they are cheaper to loose. Don't get me wrong what they can bring to the fight is invaluable.

- The CapGoror makes its appearance in the Shield set-ups. In-fact its incredibly easy to fit it that way. A ship fit this way can help quite a bit for supporting our Neuting Battleships and other cap hungry ships. The armor variant does win over this one by the fact that it can also have Projected ECCM, this one obviously can't.

- I am genuinely impressed. The arbitrator has an impressive ability to do DPS and that at about 30km range. As an EWAR boat I went with the "you do your stuff at range" philosophy that being said, its range is limited to about 30k. I has the worst hard point layout of any ship I've seen so far (with the possible exception of the stabber), 2 missile hard points and 2 turret hard-points. As such to fly this ship you need to know 3 different weapon systems; Missiles, Lasers and Drones. However we are only working off a 3 mil SP char so it is possible that a newer player could have all the skills required to fly this ship and be a great asset to any shield fleet.
