Welcome
Hi, and welcome to the wiki.
I saw your first edit and I would like to make some comments. To start with this is a wiki and while most html mark-up works just fine it should not be used when a wiki mark-up version is available. In this case you used <h1>Heading 1</h1> which in wiki mark-up should be = Heading 1 =. And second level 1 should only be used for the page title which is build in in the wiki parser which means that inside article content the highest used heading level should be level 2. There also exist some formatting templates that should be used in preference to direct html formatting. For example when you want to color some text the template {{Co}}
should be used instead of the html <span style="color: color code;">. -- Evon R'all (talk) 08:47, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
RE: Welcome
Hey, good to know! Thanks for the guidance, I've worked with MediaWiki sites before and was instructed to do the opposite there. I will use Wiki tags here.
- No problem. Whoever instructed you had it wrong.
- Another comment on the edit I just saw combined with our convo on discord using [[Draft Insurgencies]] creates an article named "Draft Insurgencies" on the main namespace that is not what I meant. I was going for a draft article under the user page, something like User:Piscine Martin Yu/Draft. Personally I use single one called "Draft" and reuse that but others use "/article name" for single use. -- Evon R'all (talk) 14:24, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
