Note: It is no longer possible to have the alt character move goods for a courier mission and for the main character to stay in the origin station. The character that accepts the courier mission must be present at the destination station in order to complete the mission.
Depreciated
This page is now superfluous as missioning while the Uni is at war is now allowed so long as the Unista is participating in Operation Fortress
- This guide is useful for those not in Op Fortress, however it is a bit of a mess and has outdated info (eg WSOP bans missioning) --Terra infector adoudel (talk) 17:50, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's against WSOP to be missioning near Aldrat outside of Op Fortress and there's no reason for people not to participate in both the fleet and the mumble as mumble listen access is required to join the Uni. The only information on this page that's particularly useful today are the instructions on how to warp someone else to a deadspace pocket without going there yourself, though I can't think of any applications off the top of my head, maybe if you wanted to salvage with your main ... but I've digressed -- otherwise it's a depreciated page with information that contradicts the WSOP and can confuse newer players by making them think they aren't allowed to be doing things they're allowed to do and ought to be doing things which aren't necessary and are going to add layers of complexity and difficulty, causing additional risk to themselves (because to them it doesn't matter if they lose their alt's missioning ship or their main's missioning ship) and reducing the effectiveness of Operation Fortress. - Please reread WSOP. There is no limit on missioning, however it is advised to not do it solo an your Uni main. Furthermore, neither mumble nor fleeting is a Uni requirement (please link something if you know it is). The only thing incorrect with this page is a couple of sentences regarding WSOP. --Terra infector adoudel (talk) 20:11, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right, my apologies. I had glanced over the new WSOP and assumed it still had those provisions in it (it used to, as I'm sure you're aware)Emmit Laduko (talk) 08:27, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
