The Chimera is the Caldari | The Chimera is the Caldari carrier. Formerly focused around providing remote repair to its supporting fleet, the Chimera (and other carriers) were rebalanced in the March 2017 release to become mobile long-range damage dealers. Despite possessing a powerful shield tank due to its passive resistance bonuses, the Chimera is usually superseded by the Nidhoggur in both PVP and PVE due to the Chimera's smaller fighter hangar and lesser fighter damage bonus. It does find a purpose, however, in providing Command Bursts to allied fleets, as its durability increases the chance of its survival. | ||
