| {{quote|You can have them in a ship in a packaged state, they will automatically assemble when jettisoned/launched. I have tested this, it works. An enormous freight container can be hauled to location in any ship with at least 2,500m3 cargo, and then launched to give a floating can with 250,000m3 capacity.

| They can not be anchored or locked, but do not seem to despawn either. I have had several of different sizes sitting at safe spots for over 3 months and they are still there. the only real down side to using them other than not being able to lock them, is they have zero structural points. they can be destroyed in one shot from a noob ship with a civilian gun, just like jetcans.

| The advantage they have is only when compared to jetcans, they are basically a jetcan as far as utility goes, but are much larger, and never despawn. They can not be scanned down, So using one at a safe spot for storage is fairly safe as they can only be found if they scan you down while you are on grid with it. they can also be dropped inside a pos shield for storage, but again can not be locked. }}
