Offering considerably more defense and powergrid capacity over the larger [[Tayra]], the '''Badger''' is very versatile. Its 185 MW powergrid lets it mount substantial defenses or even meaningful weapons in rare comedy 'combat Badger' fits.

When all the low slots are used for expanded cargoholds, the Badger will have over 7500 {{m3}} capacity while being no less agile than a Tayra. The shield can be boosted with extenders, boosters, resistance modules, or rechargers.

Visually, the Badger seem to share the chassis and propulsion unit with the Tayra, with a shorter cargohold that does not extend very far forward. They also share the launcher and turret mount points. Its variant, Crane, seem to have additional component to the rear, as well as a different painting scheme, perhaps to house the necessary modules for cloaking.
