How To Get Rich in Pochven
(It is probably best to read up on Pochven before trying this)
The Triglavian systems are a potential ISK cache for pilots, with dozens of different combat and mining sites capable of sweeping anyone from rags to riches in a few hours. However a less advertised way of making money in Poch also exists: looting the wrecks of Pochven NPCs. Due to the nature of roaming NPC fleets, large fights often break out at celestials or beacons between 1 or more factions. This usually results in dozens of wrecks scattered around, usually containing valuable items. The careful pilot can take advantage of this phenomenon; however caution is advised as a misstep can result in the loss of both ship and pod.
A Few Cardinal Rules
1. NEVER WARP TO 0. EVER. The NPC fleets spawn at 0, and in most cases will instalock and destroy yoyr ship on warpin. Cloaks also are ineffective at this distance as they deactivate when in proximity to NPCs. The only exception to this rule is when warping to a friendly structure to tether or deposit goods.
2. Always use D-Scan in Pochven. This can help identfy potential threats and increase your odds of survival.
Fits
To successfully loot wrecks your ship must have:
Fast align time (2 sec or so is preferrable)
Largish cargohold for stowing items
An MTU and/or Salvagers (optional)
As such the T1 exploration frigates make for solid choices. Personally the Probe is a favorite for its agility. However, Herons can also work well enough. (The Magnate is not suggested due to its low speed and sluggishness.)
