Posting a Killmail or Lossmail

Note: As per E-Uni rules killmails MUST be posted and commented (this includes losses). Step By Step Instructions for Posting a Killmail or Lossmail Open up your "Character Sheet" in the NeoCom. Click "Combat Log". In the dropdown at the top select "Losses" Right-click the kill and click "Copy Kill Information". Kills and losses must be posted separately, including capsule losses. Visit http://killboard.eveuniversity.org/?a=post or click "post mail" at the top of any killboard page.] There is no... Paste the Kill information into the box and enter the Killboard password. The password can be found in the forum and in the in-game Neocom under Corporation > Alliances > Bulletins. Submit the form. If your post was successful, you will be provided with a link to the new page (click the word "here" in the success message). Follow that link to the new page. Add a comment on the new page. The comment form should be located on the lower left of the new page. If it is not visible, refresh your browser until it displays: File:Killboard Comments.png NOTE: The comment should explain briefly the engagement conditions; who aggressed first, security status or corp standing of the opponent, solo or fleet engagement, etc.

Step 5 (Clickable) File:Postkillreport.png Step 7 (Clickable) Killboard Comments NOTE: While a member of EVE University, you are required to comment on ALL of your Kill and Loss Mails. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action. Do NOT include a link to the AAR. Do NOT name the FC, scout, or anyone else in the comment. All Killmails must be posted even from an Eve University member against another Eve University member or an NPC. If it was a case of wartime SOP violation or anything else of the sort, it should be reported to the Student Relations Manager. To comment you must first find your password you must be logged into the forum click User Control Panel then go to Profile then edit profile and you should be able to see your password. If you have not appeared on the killfeed as an IVY League member (killed someone or been killed) you will not be able to log in or comment. If you have just had your first kill you may have to wait up to two hours before the killfeed will allow you to log in. File:KillfeedPassword.png Then use the login in the top left of the killfeed remember to use the password from the previous step and not your forum password you can the go to the kill in question and write an informative and educational comment.
