|info=The Covetor is the largest craft in a ship class designed by the ORE Syndicate to facilitate the advancement of the mining profession to a new level. Mining barges are equipped with electronic subsystems specifically designed to accommodate Strip Mining modules.  Coupled with a sizable cargo hold and a goodly drone bay, this makes them extremely efficient ore extraction vessels.
|info=The mining barge was designed by ORE to facilitate advancing the mining profession to a new level. Each barge was created to excel at a specific function, the Covetor's being mining yield. This additional yield comes at a price, as the Covetor has weaker defenses and a smaller ore bay than the other mining barges.
Mining barges are equipped with electronic subsystems specifically designed to accommodate Strip Mining and Ice Harvesting modules.

==Summary==
==Summary==
The coveter is the best tech 1 mining barge around, but despite this it does not get much use. A pilot that can fly a Coveter is only a few days from being able to fly a far superior [[Hulk]]. The Coveter is considerably cheaper than a Hulk however.
The Covetor has the greatest yield out of all the T1 mineing barges, but it has the least tank and the smallest ore hold, which makes it unsuited to solo operations, and vunerable to being ganked. If you want to fly one, it is best to work together with other pilots in a fleet to make up for the ships shortcomeings and allow you to leverage the better extraction rates.

It also has a larger drone bay and bandwidth then the other T1 barges (50 compared to 25), so can make short work of many belt NPCs, and can prove a surprise for an unaware ganker.
