Occasionally we will require some proof of ability or knowledge, or even ask you to hold off until we feel you are more knowledgeable about the game, and better prepared to teach, but this rarely happens.  We actually want to encourage as many people as possible to get involved and help us with our mission.  However, our classes are open to the entire EvE Community and the public at large, and as a significant part of our mission and identity, they go a long way toward shaping our corp image to the rest of New Eden. So it's important we have some type of minimal contact with people before they decide to give public lectures under our name.
Also, please keep in mind that you are representing the University to the rest of New Eden by teaching a class. Thus, we may on very rare occasions also request newer lecturers to provide some proof of ability or knowledge before allowing their first class to go ahead. However, as we want to encourage as many people as possible to get involved and help with the University's core mission, we will very rarely be forced to take this option.
