The problem we currently face is in Kaimon. We set up a number of particle accelerators there, for various testing and research purposes, which we abandoned a few years ago. We stripped them of everything we needed, but apparently one of them was still in a condition to continue functioning.

Fairly easily done despite the prompt to bring friends solo with a t2 ab beam tormentor. Initial wave after popping the structures, finishing a group of 2 will spawn more frigates, at a certain point the mission was done despite more NPCs on grid, may only require the initial group be killed. Be warned; if you attack the particle accelerator, it will kill your ship. Mission competed after I destroyed the Drone Energy Succubus.
 
This is an important mission, which will have significant impact on your faction standings.
