Voice chat should be enabled as described [[Dust 514: Starters Guide#Voice Chat|here]]. A mic is not a requirement for joining DUST University but voice chat should be enabled so orders given in Squad Chat and Team Chat can be heard from your either your TV speaker or Home Cinema system. A mic IS a requirement if you want to be a Squad Leader.
