Incursions are fleet based PvE sites where the only enemies are Sansha’s Nation ships. The AI for these NPCs use some of the most advanced tactics seen in game, including many forms of EWAR. Further, all enemies have both high damage output and high resistances.  This means that it is very easy to lose a ship if unprepared. But with a proper fit one should have no trouble getting into a EVE Uni Incursion fleet.

This page contains the basic requirements for an Assault site fitting and numerous sample fits for damage dealer ships. If you are looking for fittings for Logistics Ships, or other site type fitting, please refer to the appropriate guide:

===Assault Requirements===

Assault sites have a much higher damage output. This means a bigger tank is needed. For shield a pilot must add an extra Large Shield Extender II to any of the [[Incursion_Fitting:_Vanguard|Vanguard Fits]]. This eliminates most T1 Battlecruisers from being safe in Assault sites. Most Battleships can be re-fit to work though. Also There are fewer frigates so Federation Navy Stasis Webifiers are not as important. They should be removed to make room for the Large Shield Extender IIs. Any free mid slots should be filled with Tracking Computers or Target Painters.

Drones should also be upgraded. All ships should bring at least one flight of light drones and a flight of medium or heavy drones if there is additional space.

====Snipers====

Assault sites require Snipers. These ships must be able to shoot to and lock to at least 150km. Some assault sniper fits follow. Be sure to check the recommended skills section of each fit for the minimum requirements.

====Cruisers====

One Assault site requires about 5 Battlecruiser and smaller hulls. (For this purpose Command Ships are NOT Battlecruisers.) This means that Advanced Cruisers have a role to play in Assault fleets. The Tech 3 Strategic Cruisers are preferred, but T1 Battlecruisers, Heavy Assault Cruisers, Heavy Interdictors, and Pirate Cruisers have a place. Recons tend to be too light on the damage and tank side to consider.

==Sample Cruiser Fits==

The Battlecruisers from the [[Incursion_Fitting:_Vanguard|Vanguard Fitting]] page work to varying degrees. For Shield Fleets the Harbinger, Hurricane, and Brutix fits can be used as is, but will be a bit squishy. For the Drake, Ferox, & Myrmidon drop all Webs and replace them with and addition Large Shield Extender II. Then fill any remaining slots with Target Painters or Tracking Computers.
