One form is a ultra-long range "B52" fit for bashing Upwell structures from beyond their weapons/tackle range. The other main use is as a High Angle Weapon ("HAW") fit, designed to apply huge damage to small targets. A HAW Phoenix fitted with Rapid Torpedo Launchers can apply its DPS to smaller targets better than any other Dread, while carrying a huge active tank, and being virtually immune to Neut pressure.
