Cloaking allows a ship to become completely invisible to almost all forms of detection. Only the faction police and CONCORD NPC ships are able to locate cloaked ships.
Cloaking devices

Standard cloaking device works on any ship and allows them to cloak up. Ships can not warp while the cloaking device is active. The prototype cloaking device, improved cloaking device and all the faction cloaking devices count as standard cloaking devices. |

Covert ops cloaking device can only be used by certain T2 and faction ships. The covert ops cloaking device has smaller penalties than the normal cloaking devices and most importantly ships can warp while they are cloaked by covert ops cloaking device. |
