The Confiscated Smuggler Hideout is a Capsuleer Day XIX event site and a variant of the Smuggler Hideout. It consists of two gated pockets. You have to clear most of the NPCs in the first pocket to make the acceleration gate to the second pocket usable. In the second pocket, your goal is to destroy the Smuggler Captain which drops various loot (2 possible spawn). The number of NPC spawns and their size depends on the highest ship class used, especially T3 cruisers lead to significantly more NPCs. The number of ships entering doesn't affect the spawns though. This site do not provide bounties as you will fight SARO ships (non-pirate NPC).
Notes
NPCs do not drop any loot except the boss. Salvaging is pretty useless in this site. Each room contain 2 waves. All remaining NPCs will warp away when the boss is destroyed so go immediately for him when he appears. Interestingly, the vorton projector used by the Thunderchild can chain and damage to other NPCs.
