This is a page about Incursions in general. If you are looking to join or just get more information about the EVE University Incursion Community then follow that link, as we have additional roles that do not require any specific skills (which are perfect for new players) and we do things slightly different from public communities to accommodate new players and to account for the fact that we're sometimes at war.

Join the Eve University Homefront Community!

Our mission is to bring pilots together to learn and fly Homefront missions in a way that’s fun, rewarding, and engaging. We’re making Homefronts more accessible to everyone by setting up a dedicated base in high-sec, cutting down travel time and making ships easier to find. Here, you’ll share knowledge, earn solid ISK, build lasting connections, and even take your first steps in leading a Homefront fleet.

Getting started

Staging area

E-UNI Homefront Community is staging most of it's scheduled fleets out of Rens VI - Moon 8 Brutor Tribe Treasury. We strongly recommend setting up a jump clone nearby, giving you the convenience of a quick ‘undock and go’ whenever fleet commanders call for pilots. Conveniently, the Brutor Tribe Treasury in Rens also serves as one of New Eden’s major trade hubs, making it easy to purchase and fit your own ships on the spot.

WARNING: Don't take lowsec shortcuts while traveling from Jita to Rens. Many have lost ships and implants taking this route.

Finding regular fleets

You will find Homefront ops being run almost daily around the Rens staging area. Some E-UNI fleets are scheduled on the university's Discord as fleet events. Others are hosted spontaneously by people inside and outside of E-UNI and will recruit players via one of the external Homefront in-game channels.

  • You can attend one of the announced Discord event fleets organized by E-UNI fleet commanders. Look for a fleet advertisement in the Agency window and request to join.

  • You can also join one of the external Homefront community in-game channels to announce that you are LFG. Join Homefront Operations, Homefront Runners, etc.

  • Alternatively, you can create your own fleet. Open the Opportunities window in-game and look for Homefront operations.

One of the most popular ops are the Raid homefronts, which requires Caldari cruisers and missile skills. Still, you’re free to experiment, and we’ve gathered intel on all Homefront operations to help you get started.

Communication

We strongly encourage all participants to make use of our Discord server during fleet operations. While the use of a microphone is optional, the ability to hear Fleet Commander instructions is essential for effective coordination.

Ship fittings

E-UNI Augoror Homefront FC

We provide recommended fittings designed specifically for one of the following Homefront engagements.

Please note that these fittings are for a specific Homefront only, as damage profiles and electronic warfare requirements vary across other missions.

Look for the in-game channel Homefront Fits (EVE Uni) to find our latest version of fits for the following homefronts easily staged out of Rens.

Homefront fleet ettiquette

Please take note of fleet etiquette to keep the experience efficient and enjoyable for everyone.

Give notice if you plan to leave fleet soon—avoid dropping a cold “this will be my last site” mid-mission.
Stay actively involved while flying the homefront. If you lose focus or start slacking (e.g., haulers warp off), consider letting someone else replace you in the fleet..
Always check if comms are being used and join them. No microphone required, but being able to hear callouts is a huge help for the FC.
Retire from any faction warfare to reduce the risk of ship loss.
Set your safety to green to prevent accidental friendly fire.
When joining a fleet, link your fit in fleet chat for verification by Logi or FC. Be open to small adjustments—no fit is set in stone.
