Default Channels

Alliance	Used only for important broadcasts and fleet forming. Limited to Alliance members only.	Directors

Official Channels

At the end of September 2009, the previously random channel structure was scrapped and replaced with a new organization, with new and updated channels.

Public Channels

These channels are open to the public, and people are only banned from them in the event they become a nuisance.

Passworded Channels

These channels are open to all current members, past E-UNI members who are still in good standing, and those who have completed the current 'Eve High' recruitment process. They are passworded, and the password will be posted on both corp chat and on the forums in an appropriately restricted section.

These channels are restricted to IVY members only, and cover some of the more secure parts of the Uni. Obviously, access to these is not required for the vast majority of those who are not in E-UNI.

Restricted Channels

These are process channels for E-UNI, covering things such as private staff discussions, and are restricted to specific member-lists. The vast majority of E-UNI will never need access to them, however they are listed here for completeness.

Use these to coordinate ops and such with players that are closer to you. These were primarily setup for students who were outside of the former E-UNI home region of The Forge.

Channel Rules

These apply to all official E-UNI channels, including the public ones.

1. Respect everyone in the channel, and keep discussions civil. (If you have problem with someone, take it elsewhere.)
2. Scamming in any channel is prohibited. There are no exceptions to this.
3. Profanity is never allowed. Use alternative words or don't swear.
4. Topics must be kept clean and channel content is to be kept PG-13.
5. Nobody but Eve University is permitted to recruit in the 'E-UNI' channel. The Work Fair section of the [Ivy League Forums] is used to recruit members from Eve University.

Repercussions

These are the typical actions, in order, which will be taken against offenders. However, extreme cases may progress immediately to a permanent ban. Examples are ISK spammers, scammers, and any intentional and deliberate violation of these rules.

1. A verbal warning in the relevant channel.
2. A 30 minute mute.
3. A 24 hour ban.
4. A permanent ban on all official E-UNI communication mediums, including channels and forums.
