The Ancient City is an extremely difficult escalation from the Sansha Provincial HQ and possibly other Sansha sites.
Walkthrough
This escalation has 4 locations, generally within the same region where they start. Locations 1-3 are easily runnable, but Location 4 is one of the hardest sites that exists in Eve.
It is not guaranteed for each location to escalate. After each location, killing the True Sansha Battleship will either trigger the escalation to the next location or not. If not, your time with the site is over.

WARNING: USE EXTREME CAUTION! This is the hardest site in the game due to the amount of spawns. Highly recommend running with multiple characters and probably carriers. |
This site is ungated and therefore can be run with capitals. When you warp in, you will be 200km from the structure you need to shoot. This site is NOT deadspace so you can actually warp around on grid. The various waves will spawn in different spots around the site, so you will need to either warp around or MJD as needed.
