Dalitat Dakpor
Death's Door (1 of 2)
Mission briefing I need someone to help me retrieve one of my clones. He's stuck near the Pagera Manton, his ship pretty much destroyed by Kalorr's gang when it accidentally ventured too close to the Pagera. We must act quickly, before Kalorr decides to make a meal out of the guy.
I will give you a bookmark to the Pagera. But whatever you do, don't venture too close to the holy site. Kalorr will not look too kindly upon that, and I have a feeling he's not in the best of moods ... not ever.

The Pagera Manton One of the most revered holy sites of the Blood Raiders is located in the constellation OK-FEM. The original Pagera Manton was a gigantic battleship, flagship of a massive Amarrian exploration team seeking unknown systems roughly 200 years ago. However, a malfunction of the then newly built jumpgate into OK-FEM caused an explosion in the Pagera Manton's tachyonometry, resulting in the destruction of its subwarp drives. The ship was stranded in a distant and uninhabited system, and space communication not being as sophisticated as it is today, the Manton had no way of contacting other vessels of the expedition.
Years passed and the crew eventually lost all hope of survival. The food supply running dangerously low, starvation was imminent. Then, one of the senior officers, an Amarr Holder (and secretly a Sani Sabik adherent) by the name of Lieutenant-Commander Kalorr Makur, took matters into his own hands: He staged a successful coup against the ship's commanding officer and had his most loyal followers bind and gag the dissidents within a secure chamber. These unfortunate souls became the new leadership's food supply, although Makur apparently managed to keep this fact secret from most of his followers. According to the ship's logs, maintained by Makur, this plan worked for several years... although there is evidence that Makur did occasionally turn to his own followers to replenish his "stock," hiding his motives behind the guise of executions for crimes supposedly committed against the commander. Eventually, the ship's air supply malfunctioned, and the sixty or so remaining crewmembers slowly suffocated.
Over a century later, some time before the Amarr invasion of the Minmatar homeworlds, the ship was discovered by Amarr outlaws. They found the remains of the crew, and more importantly a few enormous tanks holding thousands of liters of human blood; it seems Makur had dried his human meat before consumption. The blood had been intended as a final food source after the meat supply had run out, but was never actually consumed before Makur and his crew died. Fortunately the containers were kept in cryo-vaults, which despite over a century of decay were still up and working when the Manton was found. And Kalorr Makur's body was discovered in its very own cryo-tank, along with those of his closest allies.
News of the find quickly spread throughout the pirates in the region and thence into the territories of the nascent Blood Raiders, whose revered High Priest declared the Manton a "gift from God." The blood was brought back to the Raider headquarters. Kalorr Makur was cloned using genetic material retrieved from his body, and immediately instated as an officer of the Blood Raiders. Several years later, he was beatified and sainted.
To this day, the floating wreck of the Pagera Manton is closely guarded by Makur and his small army of clones, all extremely loyal to the Blood Raiders. Drugs, many generations of cloning, and a terrible personal history have rendered the former Amarrian capsuleer completely insane. And despite the Pagera being a popular point of pilgrimage for the members of the Blood Raider organization, few even of that cult venture there outside of large, heavily armed groups, for Makur is known to pick off stragglers for his sinister rituals no matter to what religion or organization they belong.
No rat are initially spawned, wave 1 spawns in but can be ignored. If you do decide to attack the Pagera Manton, it spawns in a massive wave.
