he concept of 'miner's justice' is new to some freelancers here. Have you heard of it? No? It's rather simple, really. Space can be dangerous, and we at the Angel Cartel are charged with keeping the peace, ensuring that people don't step out of line. We don't have the luxury of courts and lawyers, nor the option to hold long and protracted trials, so justice tends to be meted out in swift, decisive doses. It's quite a convenient arrangement for the most part, and the mining harvesters only need to defray the slight cost involved. Sadly, though, not everyone sees it this way. There are some who feel themselves to be beyond the reach of justice, and who apparently believe they won't have to face the consequences of their rebellious actions. I've received word of a group of harvesters who have been misreporting their earnings and paying only a fraction of what they should, thus swindling the Cartel out of our rightly-earned tribute. Needless to say, this kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. You are to head out, destroy their equipment and ships along with anything else you find, but return the harvesting personnel to us intact. While normally I wouldn't hesitate in demanding their bodies be splattered all over deep space, we need them alive to extract information about any other rogue operation

Mission briefing We've finished with the harvesters you brought in, and it turns out they weren't just skimming the profits. There is a gas cloud there, a very valuable gas cloud, which they had discovered and were hoping to keep all for themselves. This isn't some minor act of subterfuge, it's outright betrayal! I cannot express how angry I am at this. Here we are, working day and night to ensure the safety of these people, and for very little pay, I might add, and this is how they treat us. Rest assured, we will make a memorable example of these traitors. Their bodies will be flayed open and their skin will flap in the wind like the bloodied flags of a failed uprising. As for the gas cloud, since you were the one who brought these miscreants to justice, you're the only one I trust to inspect the cloud and verify whether it's as valuable as they claimed. Head out there, give it a look, and tell me what you saw. I suppose it's possible that the Minmatars will get a little cranky at the fact that you were responsible for the mutilation and death of their kind, but I'm sure they won't do anything drastic about it. Still, I'd appreciate if you also made sure that the area was clear of enemies.
