Rogue Swarm Alert (2018)

Rogue Swarm Alert is an event that runs from September 18th to October 1st.

Sites

Event beacons spawn in all areas of space. The sites are ungated deadspace pockets.

Initially the site contains one Disabled Swarm Overmind and few defenders. Killing the defenders will just cause another wave of reinforcements to appear. They do not drop anything.

Succesfully hacking the disabled Overmind will cause the actual Overmind to appear. The overmind is your main target and he is the one to drop the goods.

Blitz: Hack the Disabled Overmind, Kill the new Overmind, loot the dead Overmind. Incoming damage is not high so focus on maximum DPS. All other rats can be ignored.

Rewards

The bulk of the rewards come from the battleship drops. The battleship can drop the following:

• Agency boosters
• 'Augmented' and 'integrated' drone bluepint copies (5 run)
• Basic (+6), standard (+10) and advanced (+12) 'Synapse' Overmind Accelerators
• Overmind 'Hawkmoth' Drone Tuner S10-25T
• Overmind 'Goliath' Drone Tuner T25-10S
• Salvagin the wreck can yeld drone materials or Elite Drone AI chip

Additionally the event also has agency point system with following rewards:

• 125 points: Abaddon Cryptic Mimesis SKIN (Permanent)
• 250 points: Typhoon Cryptic Mimesis SKIN (Permanent)
• 525 points: Raven Cryptic Mimesis SKIN (Permanent)
• 800 points: Dominix Cryptic Mimesis SKIN (Permanent)
• 1100 points: 'Subverted' JVN-UC49 Blueprint Crate

The points can be earned from doing the event sites:

• Complete Rogue Swarm Nest
• Salvage Overmind wreck
• Hack Disabled Overmind
• Destroye Rogue Drones in Rogue Swarm sites
