User:Traven O'Toole

Traven O'Toole is a member of EVE University. Originally a member for a few months in 2017, Traven has re-joined the University as of late March, 2023. His main experiences in New Eden focus around Exploration, Faction Warfare, and PvP. However, he has made brief forays into most types of content available due to a 'Try Anything' mentality. Traven is invested in providing answers and help to capsuleers of all experience levels, and is pursuing a capsuleer-career of Fleet Command.

Orientation Officer

Traven joined the Orientation Department lead by Psychotic Fickity on May 17, 2023 out of a desire to help and guide new University students through acclimating to the University and New Eden in general. Along with the rest of the Department, Traven works to provide new-member welcome mails and Q+A-style Orientation Talks on a regular basis.

FC Team Officer

Traven joined the FC Team Officers on June 25, 2023. Originally applying to aid with the logistical needs of the team during an extended incursion into the NullSec Pocket by Cynosural Field Theory (CFT), the FC Team entered into a transitional period around the same time. Under the command of interim FC Team Manager Laura Karpinski and other FC Team Officers, Traven is aiding in a restructuring of the FC Team program in EVE University.

Teaching

Traven began teaching CORE Classes in May, 2023, and was awarded the Teacher title on July 7, 2023. He has developed an 'Intro to University Systems' class to provide guidance on the usage of Alliance Auth, Mumble, Discord, the Corporation Calendar, and the SRP process, first taught on July 1, 2023.

Wiki Edits

Traven occasionally works through the Clean Up and Needing Updates pages and corrects what he can, and trying to find answers to things that he doesn't know. He is not updating mission pages, as he's mostly doing Wiki edits while unable to undock in-game.
