E-Uni Specialist PVP Skill Plans

From EVE University Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

These skill plans are intended for EVE University members to specialise into different PVP roles.

These plans are also available as EVE University Corporation Skill Plans.

Note that there is some skill training crossover between the plans, and there is some skill training crossover with the E-Uni Basics Plan and Pyramid Skill plan. These plans are written as if trained from a newly created character. Be sure to view your training options and craft a plan that works best for your goals in EVE!

Bombers

There are two skill plans for those interest in flying bombers - a starter plan, and an intermediate plan intended to be trained once the starter plan is complete.

Neither plan is Alpha friendly - Stealth Bombers are T2 ships, and therefore not available to Alpha pilots.

Starter Bomber Plan

This skill plan will provide the basic skills required to unlock the Stealth Bomber hulls, along with cloaking and T1 Torpedoes with basic missile support skills.

Not shown on the plan - (Racial) Frigate V is required to fly the bomber of your choice. There is no specifically recommended bomber. Training of the Racial Frigate skill should occur any time during this plan.

Intermediate Bomber Plan

This plan builds on the beginner skills learned in the first plan - increasing missile support skills to more effective levels, unlocking T2 torpedo launchers, and adding bombs to the arsenal of the stealth bomber pilot.

Logistics

This skill plan begins with a selection of Logistics support skills (Logistics Modules, Drones, Targeting, and Capacitor skills). It then works to unlock the two dedicated T2 Logistics ships - Logistics Frigates and Logistics Cruisers. The plan closes with rounding out Capacitor and Hull skills to level V - important for any dedicated logistics pilot.

Not shown on the plan - (Racial) Frigate V is required to fly the Logistics Frigate of your choice. Amarr Frigate V (Deacon) is recommended. (Racial) Cruiser V is required to fly the Logistics Cruiser of your choice. Minmatar Cruiser V (Scimitar) is recommended (Amarr Cruiser V (Guardian) is also a good train for those looking to join groups outside of EVE Uni). Plan on training the racial ship skills around the time the respective T2 ship skills are trained.

This plan is not Alpha friendly - T2 ships are not available to Alpha pilots. However, Alpha clones can train much of the first part of the plan to increase the logistics skills available to them.

Scouting and Tackle

This skill plan focuses on support for T1 Tackle and Interceptors. Once at Interceptors III-IV you can/should start flying an interceptor. Further training will make your ship better, but is not required.

Not shown on the plan - (Racial) Frigate V is required to fly the interceptor of your choice. Amarr Frigate V (Malediction) or Minmatar Frigate V (Stiletto) is recommended to tie in with Uni doctrines. Plan on training at least one Racial Frigate V around the time Interceptors III-IV is trained.

This plan is not entirely Alpha friendly - Interceptors as T2 ships are not available to Alpha pilots. However, Alpha clones can train the skills in the plan that are available to them to increase the capabilities of their T1 tackle frigates.

Booshers

The plan begins with basics in maneuverability, command bursts, and then moves into unlocking the Command Destroyer class of ship, along with the namesake of the plan - the Micro Jump Field Generator, or "boosh" module.

The plan then closes out with improvement of command burst skills up through use of a Skirmish Command Mindlink to ensure a rounded Command Destroyer pilot who can not only boosh - but enhance the abilities of their entire fleet.

Not shown on the plan - (Racial) Destroyer V is required to fly the Command Destroyer of your choice. Minmatar Destroyer V (Bifrost) is recommended, though not a required or only option. Plan on training at least one Racial Destroyer V around the time Command Destroyers III-IV is trained.

This plan is not Alpha friendly - Command Destroyers are T2 ships, which are not available to Alpha pilots.
