Updated article to be more in line with other gas site articles. Removed uncessary information and information already covered in the main Gas cloud harvesting article. Cleaned up defenders to make it easier to read. Will continue to update the information as I run more sites to ensure it's current.

Polar Bear Nebula is one of those few gas harvesting sites which, like [[Icy Nebula]], is a COSMOS site as well. Therefore, the site is heavily guarded by pirate NPCs, but the amount of Minable gas makes it worth running.

==Defenders==
The site is defended by [[Serpentis]] NPCs, which are also the primary pirate NPCs of the region.

Message warping to site
When you approach the area, the Drug Farm Supervisor broadcasts:
Originally thought to be little more than a picturesque deviation from the monotonous emptiness of space, scientists and unscrupulous entrepreneurs alike have begun to appreciate the various gas cloud formations that have been discovered in recent years. Initial research into the properties of the gaseous phenomena revealed that when it came to facilitating the growth of certain types of crystal, they were one of the most conducive environments in the entire cluster.

After that, the following message is broadcasted 12 times when combat attempt is made on the NPCs:
{{MessageBox|In local (after attacking)
|{{Co|#A3FC80|The Overseer has sent repair-bots in all directions, which swiftly repair nearby Core vessels.}}
|collapsed=yes}}
When atacking the supervisor the following message is sent:
{{MessageBox|In local (after attacking the Supervisor)
|{{Co|#A3FC80|The Overseer has sent repair-bots in all directions as he is being attacked, which swiftly repair nearby Core vessels.}}
|collapsed=yes}}

At first the crystal byproducts were viewed as a potential military innovation, offering slightly improved cost efficiency in electronics and weapons manufacture. When their massive potential for use in booster production was discovered however, viewpoints shifted dramatically, and nowadays they are coveted as a fundamental resource driving the burgeoning booster industry.
